LIPEX 100 mL High Pressure Lipid Extruder

High pressure extrusion is a popular method in the fabrication and batch production of nanoparticles with a uniform size distribution. It is a quick and simple one-step procedure that forces nanoparticles in solution through polycarbonate filters with defined pore size. It is relatively gentle, exposing the formulation to moderate pressures with controlled temperature.

The LIPEX™ 100 mL Extruder facilitates scale-up and GMP production of early-stage clinical products. It is an easy to use instrument made from high grade stainless steel that can achieve high trapping efficiency and low operation costs. The temperature of the extrusion process is monitored and controlled through a 5L refrigerated and heating water circulator.
