Small-scale cGMP Module (in progress)

We will create a facility for production and testing of clinical grade nanomedicine to provide the first-of-its-kind integrated facility in Canada to not only design, fabricate and evaluate targeted nanomedicine formulations, but also to expedite the development of these promising new materials for testing in clinical trials.

Features

This facility will include a clean room for cGMP production and a GLP analytical suite for quality control. In addition to the standard clean room equipment, it will include equipment required for the preparation and purification of liposomes, nanoemulsions, lipoprotein-like NPs and SERS probes. The GLP analytical suite will not include duplicated instruments for characterization from the other NanoMed Fab modules, but rather only basic quality control instruments.
